International Cosmetic Suppliers, Ltd. (ICS) is pleased to announce we have been awarded a Silver Medal rating from EcoVadis in recognition of our Corporate Social Responsibility practices. In addition, we are thrilled to report our overall score ranked in the 88th percentile of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is a trusted platform for business sustainability ratings, and they have rated over 65,000 companies worldwide, in over 160 countries. The assessment and rating scores companies on their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and continuing commitment to implement social and environmental practices into their operations.
The assessment methodology includes assessing the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions, and results. The assessment and scorecard focus on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Being sustainable and environmentally conscious are core principles at ICS and we partner with our clients to design and develop a wide variety of sustainable packaging solutions. Our supply of sustainable packaging options continues to grow, including our ICS exclusive biodegradable packaging, mono-material products, glass, aluminum, and recyclable materials, recycled and FSC paper packaging, PCR plastic, and refillable packaging.
