ICS Designs Award Winning Modular Refillable Palette for Butter London

International Cosmetic Suppliers Ltd won the 2015 IoPP Ameristar Package Award for our revolutionary Modular Refillable Palette.

Cosmetics brand Butter London launched our award winning, patent pending, modular refillable palette in August 2015 for their Shadow Clutch product line and the success of our product has already led to the creation of several additional SKUs in the range.

The intuitive and easy to use modular design constitutes of a hinged base frame that secures the refillable pans and presents a stylish, clean appearance. The simple cosmetic packaging design allows for various pan sizes that easily slide in and out of the base meaning the user can confidently refill the compact without damaging the makeup. Not only does the refillable palette benefit end users, but it also saves waste and excess packaging making it an environmentally friendly option that is convenient, flexible and elegant all at the same time.

“Refillable and mix and match is a growing trend and the limitations in other refillable packs available on the market now are that they are often difficult to use and there is a high chance to damage the formulation when “popping out” the interchangeable/removable pans. With our palette, we have a sliding feature which eliminates the need to “pop out” the pans. ICS cosmetic packaging designers worked closely with the team at Butter London to ensure the design met exactly what the discerning Butter London client needed. “ICS was able to interpret our needs and develop this amazing, innovative cosmetic packaging that allows our customers to play and experiment with our eye shadows, having all the shades they need at their fingertips.  The unique customizable aspect has been extremely well received by customers and gives them flexibility to build their own palette,” said Butter London President Sarina Godin.

Butter London launched with 2 SKUs of the palettes, each with the convenient 6 removable/refillable pan design which allows consumers to mix and match shades to fit their need, season and style, anytime and anywhere.
