Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our NPD Engineering team based in Taipei, Taiwan. In this role, you will review, analyze, and verify product drawings and specifications to ensure that they meet the quality and functional requirements. You will also contribute towards continuous technical improvements and investigate and resolve day-to-day technical problems.

This position will work closely with our internal R&D and project development team to plan and develop product specification for primary packaging products. This includes arranging and reviewing technical drawings, preparing other required documentation and samples for the project, and preparing regular project development reports.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Engineering degree in Industrial Design, Plastics, Mechanical or equivalent discipline.
• 2 years related working experience (Graduate would also be considered).
• Good understanding/knowledge of plastic injection, blow molding, injection blow molding and finishes for product development and manufacturing.
• Proficient with reading and interpreting 2D drawings.
• Organized, detailed-oriented, and responsible.
• Highly committed to work and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of English and able to communicate in Mandarin.

Overview

In this role you will be a part of our Marketing team with key role to keep up to date on beauty packaging product innovation, identify products for feature in company marketing and be point person for coordinating products and product information for tradeshow and marketing activities. You will also manage our current product libraries including ordering, photographing, labeling and adding new product samples to add to our physical product libraries and our online product database. In addition, you will lead internal Show & Tell meetings.

This position requires working closely with internal marketing, development, business development and product sourcing teams to keep up to date with new product information and what products are trending in the industry and with our clients.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Degree-level qualification.
• Excellent memory, ability to multi-task and strong organization skills required.
• Interest in beauty industry and beauty packaging preferred.
• Experience maintaining databases or libraries a plus.
• Proactive and able to work independently, responsible personality with good reporting and communication.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Excellent spoken and written English (Mandarin is a plus)
• Eligible to work in Taiwan.
• Basic photography skills.
• Well presented, friendly and interested in working in an international environment.
